JO SCHNEIDER AIA LEED AP

Jo Schneider AIA LEED AP is a licensed and LEED certified architect and public sculptor with 27 years experience who is passionate about Design Excellence, Design Leadership and Sustainability.  Jo is currently the Maryland Aviation Administration’s Director of Architecture. Jo has been the Eastern Regional Design Principal for Jacobs Global Buildings, Lead Designer for  Commercial Architecture for Carter Burgess and a Principal and Associate Vice President with RTKL Associates in the commercial studio. She has also been inspired by working for Frank Gehry Partners and studying with Charles Moore.
Jo's strengths are creative design, strategic thinking, people skills, leadership, and problem solving.
USGBC LEED certified for 10 years, she is an experienced sustainable design professional and has designed 3 LEED Gold projects.

Jo is also a sculptor who creates large scale public art as Jo Schneider Design LLC and her personal sculpture.
